What do you like about wrestling? / What do you not like about wrestling?
I love the adrenaline rush! I love the sound of the crowd, the high flying, the love, the passion, the heart that many have. I love the thought of putting my body on the line for the fans. What I hate is I hate the politics and the drama.
What type of music do you listen to?
I love anything and everything! Rock fires me up!
Best Stable of All-Time?
There were so many, my favorite has to be Hardys with Lita.
What was it like entering a arena with thousands of fans shouting and looking at you?
Wow, I haven’t performed in front of more than a thousand but even the hundreds make my heart go fast. It feels incredible. My passion and love for the business just lets itself out and I give it my all. I love this business, I do it for the people, for that feeling.
Did you make any close friends while wrestling?
I have a couple I call close and they have picked me up when I was down and I thank them with all of my heart for not letting me give up on this dream.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?
It is tough to say but the way things are going and what I hear from people I would love to see myself as the WWE Women’s champion. I feel it in my heart that it is where I belong and I will give it my heart and soul and hopefully I climb that ladder of success to achieve my dream. I also see myself as a fashion designer with custom gear!
What moves do you want in your move set?
I love highflying and submission. My favorite mix is Rey Mysterio, The Undertaker and Melina. I would love to do DDT’s, Headscissor, Hurricanarana, Bulldog, of the top rope leg drop, anything that has an interesting twist. When it comes to submission I love the sleeper and I have been working on my own submission finisher, so check me out one day!
What would be your theme song when you come to the ring? It is a tough choice but I always saw myself as an Unbreakable Force and my theme song would be The Broken by the Fireball Ministry.
What would your finishing move be? A submission and an off the top rope. Something interesting!
If you were a fan of the sport as a child, who were some of your favorites? That is an easy one! Boxing! Boxing led to wrestling and that is where the passion started. I have always been a fighter and I will continue to achieve that goal.
Was there anyone that you credit for inspiring you to do what you do now? Many people would disagree with my choice but as a person, John Cena inspires me the most. Wrestling would have to be the Undertaker and Rey Mysterio, Cena inspires me because he has so much passion and heart for the business and he has that Never Give Up attitude which I follow every single day of my life. He also is the ambassador of wishes for the Make a Wish Foundation, it is another reason why he inspires me so much to go for what I want in life. Also my very close friends who never let me fall.
Is there anything you would like to accomplish that you haven’t yet? I want to finish training and prove to those that hate that I am much more than eye candy. I KNOW that I can do this. It is in my blood and in my heart and I will prove to the world that I can be what I aspire to be.
Is there something most fans don't know about you that you would like 'em to know? I make wrestling gear! I am an artist and I have a huge love for animals. I am a shy person at times but once you get to know me, I can be your best friend.
What's your relationship with the other girls you work with? I actually haven’t had the chance to meet many. Those that I have would look down on me because I am just a valet and they think I am just eye candy. Those that were different, gave me a chance to explain that all I want to do is wrestle. I thank them for giving me that chance.
Which wrestlers were the most fun to work with? It was amazing managing my first wrestler, Chilango. He has looked after me and always saw me in his corner. He gave me some great spots and helped me show the world that eye candy can make a very good heel! It was also amazing being face with my green guy, Jak Ferrik, the man with amazing skills. Look to the future because you just may see a lot of me and Jak.
Do your family support what you do? My mom is petrified when it comes to wrestling because she is afraid I will get hurt. She supports me though, takes me to shows and I love her for that.
What kind of advice can you give a young woman who might be considering getting into the Wrestling Business? I would tell her to keep her head up. If people see her as eye candy, not to take it as a bad thing but to use it as an element of strength and prove to the world she can be so much more that that. Do not listen to the people that hate and do not let the drama get you down. In wrestling there is always drama and it always gets tougher. Just have to be strong. A good piece of advice would be never date the people you work with because it causes more drama but sometimes we can’t help what the heart feels. Just make good choices and fight to achieve your goals. Sacrifice is everything in this business. Give em’ hell girl!
Any Last Words for your fans out there? Look to the future because it is bright! I do not know when, I am not sure where but you will see a lot of me! I am going to stay determined and hopefully one day I will make it to the top and help woman’s wrestling! Thank You for all your love and support and follow those who chase their dream and entertain you the most! Much love, Sanela.
