One On One Interview With Marti Belle

How did you get your start into wrestling? I have always been a fan of wrestling. Two years ago, I saw an ad on Model Mayhem for a company (World of Unpredictable Wrestling) that was looking for models to work as valets for some of their wrestlers. I went down and eventually became a manager and then started training.

What do you like and dislike about wrestling? I love the showmanship and comraderie of wrestling. I love being able to step into the ring and entertain the crowds. What I dislike is probably that there arent more shows in NYC.

What's your favorite story backstage at a wrestling show? I have so many fun backstage stories. I have lots of fun at every show I do because I do what I love. One of the best moments was probably sleeping in the parking lot of Denny's because we were too tired to keep driving home.

Who were your insperations in the ring? I think I take a little bit from a few wrestlers. I'm a big fan of high flyers but also an even bigger fan of workers who do a lot of mat wrestling.
Top 5 Favorite Opponents In The Ring? Roxie Cotton, Tina San Antonio, Mercedes Martinez, Annie Social & Mia Yim

Who was your 1st match against and how did you feel about it? My first match was against Tina San Antonio and Sweet Pea. I just remember being super nervous but so excited! I was so happy to finally be able to show what I had been working on for so long!

Favorite Outfit to wear to the ring? I loooove to wear a pair of shorts, a sequined bra and one of my cool wife beaters. I am so comfortable!
Any Females You wanna be in the ring against someday? I would love to face Mickie James!

What's your theme song when you come to the ring? It's called "For the Gods" by PUi. They're some of my best friends and their music is amazing.
Anything you wanna say to your fans? I love my fans!! I am so thankful to be able to entertain you all and see your faces in the crowd!

Anything You wanna say to the females who wanna be in the wrestling business? It is a tough business to be in. You have to be willing to work very hard and sacrifice a lot of things. Listen to what veterans tell you and try to learn as much as you can everyday.

Wanna Say Anything To your co-workers?
