One On One With Current Women's Wrestler Lady Mynx

what made me become a pro wrestler?
I have wanted to be a pro wrestler since the age of 15. A friend of mine and I were watching WWE and were planning on me getting in there and pretending as to who I would face and who I would be a tag team partner with. I did not know where to go to for training or anything at that time.
What do I like about wrestling?/what do i not like about wrestling?
I will be honest with you, the training is very difficult but fun. I can not really think of anything that I do not like about wrestling. I am enjoying all the people that I have met so far and I know that there will be many more to sit down and talk to.
Did you ever get to use your wrestling skills in private life?
I have not actually used my wrestling skills in private life. I can't say that I would never use them though. I am almost positive that there will be a time that I will end up using them.
Do you have funny backstage stories you like to share?
The funniest moment was when Danika and I got a fellow wrestler by putting his clothes in plastic grocery bags and duct taping them into volley balls. The guy was pissed but laughing his a&& off too.
What do you feel is your biggest asset?
My biggest asset is being kind and considerate toward the fans when it comes to signing autographs. Doing the shows and entertaining the fans is what it is all about and having fun with it too.
What's your relationship with Danika Nightshade?
We are very close friends, almost like sisters. We consider each other sisters.
Is there something most fans don't know about you that you would like 'em to know?
Yes, there is actually. I am proud to say that I have never touched drugs in my life. I am also attending college at the present moment, going for a criminal justice degree.
Who was your first match against and what was it like stepping into the ring for the first time? I was in the ring for the first time against Laura Phoenix. I had a great time and I was nervous as hell before walking through the curtain.
What has surprised you the most about being a professional wrestler? What has surprised me the most is how difficult the training actually is. Most people think that training is easy and it is not. You do get hurt when you train, but the training is worth it when you get a championship belt around your waist.
Who was your mentors cominig into the business? My all time mentor was and still is Marty Jannetty, my favorite wrestler. He was the one who inspired me to get into wrestling. In fact, the first tag team I saw at the age of 15 was the Rockers.
What kind of advice can you give a young woman who might be considering getting into thw wrestling business? I can say this much, scout out several wrestling schools before deciding on one to train at. It is hard work, but the benefits are very rewarding. I am the only girl at ASWA where I train at, but it is fun to no end. The guys i train with are very nice about everything and very helpful. get yourself a good education too because if the wrestling business does not work for you, you have to have something to fall back on to pay the bills.
Any last words for your fans out there? Just have fun at the shows because I know us wrestlers do.
Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to do this interview? Thank you for contacting me for this interview. I really enjoyed taking the time to do it.
